Five gamblers and four outlaws held; 1.3 kg hashish and 1.2 kg heroin recovered


ISLAMABAD, June 20, 2017: Islamabad Bhara Kau police has arrested five gamblers red-handed and recovered stake money and other valuables from them, a police spokesman said. He said that a team constituted by SP (City) Zubair Ahmed Sheikh under supervision of SHO Bahra Kahu Inspector Athar raided at the gambling den and succeeded to arrest five gamblers besides recovering cash and valuables from them. They have been identified as Mehtab, Nasir, Nauman, Hammad and Naman Shehzad. Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali from Bhara Kahu arrested an accused Feeroz for having 145 gram heroin. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam from Aabpara police arrested Zeb and Asif for having stolen electronic equipment. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iqbal from Tarnol police held Rasheed for having 1300 gram hashish and 1060 gram heroin. Islamabad police also arrested 68 beggars from various areas of the city and legal action has been started against them. While reviewing this performance, SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated it and directed to accelerate efforts for effective policing. PRO Islamabad Police 20-06-2017
