Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP)

Safe, Disciplined and Efficient Traffic Management

Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) is a specialized unit of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, established as a model traffic force to bring safe, disciplined and efficient traffic management to the federal capital. Since its formation, ITP has worked to reduce road accidents, enforce traffic laws impartially, and deliver modern, transparent public services to citizens and visitors of Islamabad.

Recognized as one of the most professional and corruption-resistant law-enforcement units in the country, ITP was the first police organization in Pakistan to operate its own FM radio station and to receive ISO 9001 certification for the quality of its policing and licensing services.
