ISLAMABAD: The conciliatory committee sys tem is the best to handle the cases of minor nature and it helps police to save its precious time and to focus its attention on important task of public welfare. It was stated by SP (Rural) Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer while addressing the participants of Conciliatory Committees of Rural Zone. SDPOs and SHOs of police stations in Rural Zone also attended the meeting held at office of SP (Rural) following directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Sultan Azam Temuri and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Islamabad Sajid Kiani. SP (Rural) addressed the participants and gave many recommendations to improve working. He said that that conciliatory system is very much effective for resolving cases of minor nature. He urged all the participants to decide cases purely on merit and with honesty. It would not only bring good repute for them but also to ensure justice and peace in society. The SP asked the participants to immediately contact with him in case of any hurdle by any police official towards justice. He said it is our duty to stop corrupt practices and serve the people with dedication and honesty. He also lauded the services of Rural Zone Conciliatory committees and said mutual cooperation of police and public can ensure complete peace in the society. During the meeting, various public issues were discussed with the members and the problems of the committee members were also discussed. The SP (Rural) said that Islamabad police will be made model police force as per vision of IGP Islamabad Sultan Azam Temuri and SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani and policing culture will be further improved. He said that IGP and SSP Islamabad have directed to inculcate friendly police ecology in the Capital and this target would be achieved.
