Conciliatory committees asked for high cooperation


ISLAMABAD, May 13, 2018: The officials of Islamabad Police on Sunday arranged a meeting with members of Public Conciliatory Committees and urged their members for high cooperation and vigilance during sacred month of Ramadan. Following the directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri and SSP (Operations) Islamabad, a formal meeting was called by SP investigation Zubair Ahmad Sheikh chaired with the members of Public Conciliatory Committees of Industrial Area and Sabzi Mandi Islamabad. ASP/SDPO Industrial Area Circle was also present in the meeting. The meeting discussed the aim and working of Public Conciliatory Committees in detail. It was asked play very positive role to help and redress the grievances of masses purely on merit and without any delay. The SP (Investigation) also urged to introduce respectable and well educated people of society who intends to be member of PCC. The problems and difficulties of PCC members were also personally listened who were assured to solve the same. The PCC Members were also briefed and emphasized regarding their responsibilities for upcoming Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 2018. They assured the police for their full cooperation and inform them in case of any suspects around them. The SP Zubair Ahmed Sheikh said that effective way of policing in current age is `community policing' which is being followed by the entire world. He said that developed countries have promoted community policing because police department cannot perform without public cooperation.
