ISLAMABAD, August 2, 2018: Islamabad Police have arrested 14 outlaws including four drug pushers and recovered 168 wine bottles, 670 gram hashish and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday. He said that Inspector Ghulam Muhammad from Shehzad town police station arrested four bike lifters and recovered one stolen motorbike from them. They have been identified as Nazakat alias Sadaqat, Ghulam Jaffer, Danish and Waqas while police is hopeful for more recovery from them after investigation. ASI Sajjad Ahmed from Ramana police arrested a bootlegger Amjad Masih and recovered 118 wine bottles from him while ASI Arshad Pervez nabbed Yusuf for having 30 bore pistol. Sub-Inspector Asif Ali from CIA police arrested Hamza for having 30 bore pistol while ASI Inam Ullah nabbed Sajid Masih in possession of 50 wine bottles. ASI Muhammad Shehbaz from Bani Gala police nabbed Naseer for selling petroleum products illegally while Sub-Inspector Ghulam Musta arrested Ikram Shehzad for having 30 bore pistol and ammunition. ASI Nur Elahi from Golra police station arrested Zaman Shah for decanting gas in cylinders illegally while Sub-Inspector Umer Hyat from Noon police arrested Waheed for possessing 320 gram hashish. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Yusuf from Nilore police arrested Mulazim for having 30 bore pistol while Inspector Muhammad Khan from Loi Bher police arrested Abdul Shakoor for having 350 gram hashish. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance as well as effective policing measures in the city.
