No: 1173/PRB/CPO. According to the details, the Islamabad Police teams arrested 25 accused involved in different criminal activities. Police teams also recovered 744 grams of ice, 550 grams of hashish, two bottles of liquors, one rifle, three kalashnikovs and 16 pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against them, and further investigations are ongoing.
Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders, various police teams arrested 16 criminals.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown against crime and criminal elements to ensure peace and tranquility in the federal capital.
SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, stated that the Islamabad Police is constantly working to ensure the safety of citizens' lives and property in the federal capital.
Under the " No to Weapons" campaign, vigorous actions are being taken against illegal weapons, the display of arms, and aerial firing; efforts are also underway to arrest proclaimed offenders with criminal records and to provide prompt justice to citizens.
Citizens are urged to immediately report any suspicious activity to the relevant police station or the emergency helpline "Pukar-15" so that the city can be made crime-free through the mutual cooperation of the police and the public.
