No: 975/PRB/CPO. According to the details, the Islamabad Police teams arrested 17 accused involved in different criminal activities. Police teams also recovered 599 grams of ice, 236 bottles of liquor, one Kalashnikov, rifle and 10 pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against them, and further investigations are ongoing.
Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders, various police teams arrested 28 criminals.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown against crime and criminal elements to ensure peace and tranquility in the federal capital.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that the Islamabad Police is committed to protecting the lives and property of residents, and no elements will be allowed to disturb public peace. Ensuring peace and protecting citizens remain the top priority of the Islamabad Police.
Citizens are also urged to report any suspicious activities to the relevant police station or via the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” immediately, so that through mutual cooperation between the police and the public, crime can be eradicated from society.
