No: 1154/PRB/CPO. According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting with senior police officers.
The meeting reviewed important matters related to the timely, effective, and dignified delivery of police services to citizens, improvement of police response mechanisms, and strengthening of the public service system.
The meeting was attended by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, SSP Investigation Suleman Zafar, and DSP CIA. During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the law and order situation in Islamabad, crime prevention measures, ongoing operations against criminal elements, improvements in investigation procedures, and the police facilities being provided to citizens.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed the officers that the protection of citizens lives and property is the foremost priority. He emphasized that, for this purpose, the policing system should be made more effective, integrated, and citizen-friendly.
He stated that public confidence can be further strengthened by ensuring the immediate resolution of citizens complaints, improving response times, and providing quality police services.
The IGP Islamabad further directed the officers to adopt modern strategies for crime prevention, take indiscriminate action against criminal elements, promptly resolve citizens issues, and enhance the effectiveness of police presence in the field.
He added that Islamabad Police, under its vision of public service, is utilizing all available resources to provide citizens with a safe environment and the best possible police facilities.
