No: 1078/PRB/CPO. According to the details, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan visited Srinagar Highway as part of the "Zero Violation Day" campaign, where she met with traffic police officials deployed on duty and delivered a special briefing.
On the occasion, she issued important directives regarding the effective enforcement of traffic laws, strengthening enforcement standards, and ensuring a safe traveling environment for citizens.
CTO Islamabad directed officers to launch a strict, indiscriminate crackdown against lane violations, over speeding, dangerous driving, reckless lane changing, the use of mobile phones while driving, failure to wear seat belts, and other life-threatening traffic violations.
She instructed that strict legal action be taken against every traffic violation during "Zero Violation Day" and emphasized that no leniency or exceptions would be tolerated for any offender.
CTO Islamabad stated that the protection of the lives and property of citizens remains the Islamabad Traffic Police's top priority. She directed all officers to perform their duties professionally while ensuring strict enforcement of traffic laws, effective policing, and courteous behavior toward the public.
She further instructed officers to utilize all available resources to maintain the smooth flow of traffic on Srinagar Highway, prevent road accidents, ensure a timely response to incidents, and provide a safe traveling environment.
She also emphasized the need to further promote public awareness of traffic laws to encourage responsible driving and foster a safer, more disciplined traffic culture.
