No: 1346/PRB/CPO. According to the details, on the special directives of Federal Minister for Interior Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, Islamabad Police is taking measures to ensure the prompt resolution of citizens’ issues, prevention of crime and effective delivery of police services.
DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem held an open court at his office, where he listened to citizens’ complaints and directed the concerned officers to take legal action on their applications within the stipulated time and submit reports accordingly.
DIG Islamabad said that the prompt resolution of citizens’ issues strictly on merit is among the top priorities of Islamabad Police. He said that citizens can approach open courts without hesitation or any recommendation to present their issues, while complaints can also be registered through the IGP Complaint Cell 1715. He added that senior and zonal police officers are also holding open courts on the directions of the IGP to resolve citizens’ issues at their doorstep.
Meanwhile, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza chaired an important meeting attended by the SSP Security & Administration, zonal SPs, circle SDPOs and SHOs. The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation, crime prevention measures, action against criminal elements, effective patrolling and measures to protect citizens’ lives and property.
SSP Operations directed officers to further intensify action against criminal elements, improve the patrolling system and utilize all available resources to maintain law and order. He also emphasized the need to ensure an effective police presence in the field and provide prompt, effective and quality police services to citizens.
Islamabad Police is continuing its efforts at all levels to promptly resolve citizens’ issues, prevent crime, maintain law and order, and provide timely and effective police services.
