DIG Islamabad holds open court to resolve public grievances

Following the special directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq held an open court at his office under the open door policy to ensure the immediate redressal of citizens' problems. Citizens presented complaints regarding land encroachments and other issues. DIG Islamabad attentively listened to the concerns and issued directives to the relevant officers to take legal action on the marked applications within the given time frame and submit a report. On the occasion, the DIG Islamabad said, the Islamabad Police follows a zero-tolerance policy regarding violence against women and children. Providing maximum relief to the public is a top priority. The supremacy of the law will be ensured at all costs. He further emphasized that every citizen has equal rights, and all applications will be decided on merit. The protection of citizens' lives, property, and dignity is of utmost importance, he added.
