According to the details, the Islamabad Police Bhara Kahu Police Station team, utilizing modern technology and human intelligence, successfully arrested five wanted members of organized criminal gangs involved in multiple street crime and snatching incidents across the federal capital.
During the operation, police recovered two cartons of cigarettes worth approximately Rs. 200,000, cash, and a motorcycle used in the commission of the crimes. Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects, and further investigation is underway to uncover their involvement in other criminal activities and arrest any remaining accomplices.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that Islamabad Police is continuing targeted operations against gangs involved in motorcycle theft, street robbery, and other criminal activities. He said these sustained efforts have resulted in a significant decline in motorcycle theft and street crime across the federal capital.
He directed all police officers to intensify the crackdown against criminal elements and ensure that all offenders are brought to justice through professional investigation and effective legal action.
He also appealed to citizens to cooperate with Islamabad Police and promptly report any suspicious person, activity, or object to the nearest police station or the Police Helpline "Pucar-15" to help maintain peace and public safety.
