No: 1368/PRB/CPO. Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry held an Orderly Room at his office, where police officers and officials presented their service-related and personal matters. The IGP Islamabad listened to their concerns and directed the concerned officers to take necessary action for their timely redressal in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations.
The IGP Islamabad stated that police officers and officials are a valuable asset of the force and that their welfare, encouragement and genuine concerns remain among the department’s key priorities. He said that standing by the force during difficult times and addressing their legitimate concerns is an important departmental responsibility.
Later, IGP Islamabad invited SWAT commandos who had demonstrated outstanding performance to the Central Police Office and awarded them appreciation certificates in recognition of their professional services. He appreciated their professional expertise, dedication and excellent performance and encouraged them to maintain the same level of commitment.
The IGP Islamabad also awarded appreciation certificates to other police officers and officials who demonstrated outstanding performance, acknowledging their dedication, professionalism and commendable services. He said that officers and officials who perform their duties with distinction would continue to be encouraged and recognized.
Furthermore, IGP Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry met Chairman ADRC Tayyab Nawaz Malik to discuss matters relating to the effective functioning of Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees and public facilitation.
The IGP Islamabad emphasized that ADRC committees at every police station should play an active and effective role in resolving citizens’ disputes. He said that the common objective is to facilitate citizens, resolve their genuine issues and contribute to the betterment of society.
The IGP Islamabad reiterated that Islamabad Police remains committed to the welfare of its officers and officials, promotion of professional excellence and provision of effective and accessible services to citizens.
