No: 1040/PRB/CPO. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting at Central Police Office Islamabad.
The meeting was attended by DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DIG Headquarters Muhammad Ateeque Tahir, and DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding further improving public service delivery, ensuring transparency and merit in the recruitment process of Islamabad Police, protection of citizens lives and property, strengthening security arrangements, promotion of modern policing, and enhancing overall performance.
On the occasion, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi assigned important responsibilities and tasks to all senior officers with clear timelines and directed them to ensure timely completion of assigned targets.
He further instructed that all initiatives should be regularly monitored and the performance of every department should be made more effective, transparent, and public-friendly.
He emphasized that the policing system must be further strengthened through the provision of quality and timely services to citizens, merit-based recruitment, effective security measures, and the use of modern technology.
He also stressed that professionalism, accountability, and transparency must be ensured at every level while performing official duties.
