According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired important meetings at the Central Police Office Islamabad, attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, Deputy Inspector General of Police Law and Order Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, AIGs, SSPs and other senior police officers.
The meetings reviewed the administrative and operational affairs of Islamabad Police, overall performance, human resources, logistics support, the Safe City system, and institutional capacity. Various measures to make the policing system more effective, organized and citizen-friendly, enhance professional capabilities, and further improve the quality of police services provided to citizens were also discussed.
The meetings also reviewed security and traffic arrangements for Independence Day in the federal capital, measures for public facilitation, and steps to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for citizens. IGP Islamabad directed the concerned officers to make effective use of all available resources to further improve security, traffic management and service delivery.
IGP Islamabad emphasized the need for continuous improvement in the operational capacity of the force, an effective administrative system, and policing aligned with modern requirements. He directed that all necessary measures be continued to ensure timely, dignified and quality police services for citizens.
Later, IGP Islamabad inspected the ongoing upgradation work at the Central Police Office and directed the concerned officers to ensure the timely completion of construction and development works according to the prescribed standards.
He reaffirmed his commitment to further advancing administrative, professional and development initiatives to make Islamabad Police a more effective, modern and citizen-friendly institution.
