Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police has implemented comprehensive security measures for the Bari Imam Urs.
As part of these arrangements, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza visited various security checkpoints and interacted with officers deployed at different locations.
He emphasized the importance of their duties in ensuring a safe and secure environment for all visitors attending the Urs. He directed the officers to remain vigilant and closely monitor any suspicious individuals or potential criminal elements.
He further directed all officers and personnel to perform their duties diligently and maintain a courteous and accommodating attitude toward visitors. He also directed that the Third Avenue checkpoint remain open to facilitate the smooth movement of attendees.
SSP Operations stated that Islamabad Police is committed to ensuring effective security arrangements and is utilizing all available resources to protect citizens during the Bari Imam Urs.
He urged the public to cooperate with security personnel and immediately report any suspicious activity to Islamabad Police through the Pucar-15 emergency helpline.
