No: 992/PRB/CPO. According to the details, in line with the Public-Centric Policing vision and the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police Summer Camp 2026 is being held at the Islamabad Police Lines Headquarters. The camp provides children with a healthy, safe, and positive environment where they can enhance their abilities and develop their full potential. The camp offers training in swimming, martial arts, football, archery, horse riding, gymnastics, obstacle courses, and a variety of other physical activities. In addition, special emphasis is placed on first aid, traffic rules, moral education, discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, and leadership development. Training sessions and recreational activities are being conducted during both the morning and evening. Through these activities, children are not only enjoying themselves but are also learning to adopt a healthy, disciplined, and responsible lifestyle. The participating children said that the Islamabad Police Summer Camp has provided them with an excellent learning experience. Alongside sports, they are also acquiring valuable life skills such as self-confidence, discipline, and self-defense. SP Headquarters Pari Gul stated that the primary objective of the summer camp is to build children's self-confidence, encourage them to engage in positive activities, and further strengthen trust and affiliation between the police and the community. She added that children are receiving self-defense training from experienced professionals who actively serve in the field, enabling them to protect themselves and grow into confident, responsible, and safety-conscious citizens. She further stated that Islamabad Police has been organizing the Summer Camp continuously since 2002, and each year the initiative has expanded due to the public's growing trust and confidence in the police. The first batch of the Islamabad Police Summer Camp 2026 has been successfully completed, while the second batch is currently underway, with a large number of children actively participating in a wide range of educational, training, and recreational activities.
