No: 1253/PRB/CPO. Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police has intensified search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and crack down on criminal elements.
The comprehensive search and combing operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs.
During the operations, a total of 101 individuals, 67 households, seven shops, 75 motorcycles and 17 vehicles were thoroughly checked. Additionally, 12 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza stated that the objective of these search and combing operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and further strengthen security across the federal capital.
He added that such operations are being conducted in different areas across the district as part of Islamabad Police’s ongoing efforts to prevent crime and maintain law and order. Islamabad Police continues indiscriminate action against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
