According to the details, Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Zone Khalid Mehmood Awan chaired an important meeting with officers of Industrial Area Circle to review measures for crime prevention. The meeting was attended by the SHOs, Muharrars, and investigation officers of Industrial Area and Sabzi Mandi Police Stations.
The overall crime situation, investigation of cases, pending investigations, and action against criminal elements were reviewed in detail.
SP Industrial Area Zone directed the officers to further intensify efforts to prevent crime and take effective action against criminal elements. He emphasized ensuring merit-based and effective investigation of cases and bringing pending investigations to their logical conclusion at the earliest.
He further directed the officers to take strong action against illegal possession and display of weapons and aerial firing under the “Say No to Weapon” campaign. He also ordered effective measures to arrest individuals with previous criminal records, proclaimed offenders, and wanted suspects.
SP Industrial Area Zone Khalid Mehmood Awan directed the officers to ensure the timely provision of justice to citizens and prompt resolution of their grievances.
He stated that protecting the lives and property of citizens and ensuring effective policing remain among the top priorities of Islamabad Police.
