No: 1070/PRB/CPO. Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, SP Saddar/Industrial Area Zones Khalid Mehmood Awan held an open court at his office under the Open Door Policy to ensure the prompt redressal of citizens' grievances.
During the open court, citizens presented complaints regarding land encroachments and other issues. The SP attentively listened to their concerns and directed the relevant officials to take legal action on the submitted applications within the stipulated timeframe and submit compliance reports.
On the occasion, SP Saddar/Industrial Area Zones Khalid Mehmood Awan stated that Islamabad Police follows a zero-tolerance policy against violence targeting women and children. He said that providing maximum relief to the public remains one of the force's top priorities and that the rule of law will be upheld at all costs.
He further emphasized that every citizen is equal before the law and that all applications will be decided strictly on merit. He added that the protection of citizens' lives, property, and dignity remains the foremost responsibility of Islamabad Police.
