No: 999/PRB/CPO. According to the details, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, chaired an important operational review meeting attended by all Zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs.
The meeting included an individual performance review of officers and a detailed assessment of the overall law and order situation, crime prevention measures, the arrest of proclaimed and habitual offenders, progress in cases under investigation, security arrangements, and the delivery of public policing services.
During the meeting, SSP Operations Islamabad directed all officers to further intensify intelligence-led and targeted operations against criminal elements. He emphasized tightening the net around gangs involved in car theft, motorcycle theft, street robbery, armed robbery, and other property crimes, and ensuring the early arrest of all gang members. He also instructed officers to continue an indiscriminate crackdown against proclaimed and habitual offenders and to arrest absconding suspects without delay while completing investigations strictly on merit.
He further directed all police stations to strengthen service delivery under the SIPS protocol, ensure courteous and professional behavior towards citizens, and address public complaints promptly and efficiently. He stressed that officers must adopt modern policing practices, enhance surveillance, and improve coordination to effectively prevent crime and enforce the law without discrimination.
SSP Operations Islamabad also emphasized that all available resources should be utilized to maintain law and order, protect the lives and property of citizens, and ensure the effective enforcement of the law across the federal capital. He made it clear that negligence, laxity in security arrangements, or any unprofessional conduct in the discharge of duties will not be tolerated.
