No: 1342/PRB/CPO. According to the details, following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) is taking effective measures to ensure smooth traffic flow in the federal capital while providing maximum guidance and assistance to citizens.
In this regard, Superintendent of Police (SP) Traffic Khan Muhammad Hasbani commended the traffic police officers and officials who performed their duties diligently and awarded them certificates of appreciation and cash rewards in recognition of their commendable performance.
On the occasion, SP Traffic said that the dedication and hard work of officers and officials in ensuring smooth traffic flow are commendable. He said Islamabad Traffic Police officers and officials are committed to serving citizens. He added that special measures are being taken to prevent traffic accidents and ensure uninterrupted traffic flow, while effective enforcement of traffic laws is essential to reduce accidents.
Later, SP Traffic Khan Muhammad Hasbani held a meeting with lifter operators and issued necessary directions regarding smooth traffic flow and public facilitation. He directed them to perform their duties diligently and take indiscriminate action against vehicles causing obstruction to traffic.
Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) is also conducting awareness activities at various intersections and major roads to educate citizens about traffic laws and road safety. In addition, Islamabad Traffic Police Radio FM 92.4 is providing citizens with information on road safety, traffic laws and the latest traffic situation in the city.
